Meet the Chef

Dominique Hartmann

Born in Lyon, trained in Zurich, and shaped by kitchens across Europe, Chef Hartmann brings two decades of culinary mastery to Ember & Thyme. His philosophy is deceptively simple: honour the ingredient, respect the season, and never overcomplicate the plate. After earning his stripes at three-star establishments in Paris and Copenhagen, he returned to Switzerland to build something deeply personal.
